Crunchy Keto Pork Chops

Crunchy keto pork chop, served with mashed cauliflower, and asparagus


Just because you're living the #ketolife doesn't mean it has to be boring. You won't even miss breaded and fried foods after you try these pork chops.
















Ingredients
  • 1 lb boneless pork chops (4 chops)
  • 1 1/2 oz pork rinds
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional garlic powder


Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick. 
  2. Pulse pork rinds in food processor, or crush them in a bowl using a small cup. Place the crushed pork rinds in a deep dish and set aside. 
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together one egg, and cream.
  4. Add parmesan cheese to pork rinds, add salt and pepper. In this recipe I also used some McCormick brand Garlic and Herb seasoning.  Mix it together. 
  5. Dip one pork chop in the egg mixture, and coat with the pork rinds on both sides. Place the chop on the cookie sheet
  6. Repeat step 5 with all the chops.
  7. Bake for 15 mins, then turn them over carefully and bake for 7 more mins .You may choose to use the broiler to get the tops even more crunchy and browned at the end.

  1. These pork chops were delicious! I was curious how they would taste since I’ve never heard of breading with pork rinds and was pleasantly surprised how good it was! I will be using this for breading from now on. Thanks for the recipe!
