Keto Chocolate Chia Pudding

Makes 6 servings. 93 calories, 3 protein, 7 fat, 2 net carbs 

You'll love this pudding. It's rich, thick, and resembles a tapioca type pudding because the chia seeds swell and become soft. The seeds make this pudding thick and delicious.

Most keto dishes, desserts especially, are very calorie rich. This pudding is not. It's fairly low calorie, so you can decide to add more fat by using whipped cream. It's less than 100 calories per serving, and just under 2 net carbs.

Keto Chocolate Chia Pudding 

Keto kids Halloween pudding treat chocolate
Great for a Halloween treat!


  • 2 1/2 cups almond milk
  • 3-5 packets stevia or your favorite sweetener
  • 1/4 cup raw cacao powder or cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream for topping (optional)

  1. In a large mixing bowl combine almond milk, cacao powder, and sweetener. Blend with hand mixer.
  2. Add in chia seeds and stir by hand. 
  3. Stir the mixture a few times every 5 minutes or so before refrigerating 6 hours or overnight. The stirring every 5 minutes for 15 minutes allows the chia seeds to swell and make the pudding.
  4. Add heavy cream to a bowl, and beat on high until thick, and use as a topping. You can also beat the pudding when it comes out of the refrigerator to make it fluffy. Makes 6-8 servings.
